I never had a Foil razor before.. I always used the rotary ones that rip your hair of your face and irritate the crap out of it.. i havent used it for that many days but so far i love it and will never go back to rotary.. also it was my first braun, and im really liking the name too :)

Strengths: Complete unit, doesn't miss much, gets a very close shave. Easy to maintain and easy to stay clean.
Weakness: Not quiet when shaving or on cleaning unit. Sometimes need to be very diligent in the hard to reach areas
I owned a Braun electric shaver from 2002 and was very happy with it. It still works but I felt it was time to buy the newer version. This unit is a little smarter but not that much quicker. As a matter of fact, the self cleaning unit takes 30-45 minutes for a full cleaning which seems like an excessive cleaning time period. No worries, it comes out clean in the end.
