When my brother's Braun died after 5 years, I bought this as a replacement. He explicitly said he did not want any bells and whistles (i.e. lotion cartriges or washing units) and something that was compatible with the extra the 5000 series cutting blocks he already had. He loves it! Clean shave every time.
Strengths: Shaves closer than rotary shavers. Immersible, good for cleaning. Charge lasts about 2 weeks.
Weakness: Sideburn clipper is not as good as on older Braun models.
If you haven't used a foil shaver before, it takes a bit to get used to it. I found that sometimes I press too hard and actually cut my skin. But how close it shaves is the major reason I like foil shavers. Moderately priced, it is a good model to try if you haven't used a Braun before.

5775 Flex XP II Shaver
Strengths: Provides a good, quick shave and handles problem areas (like neck) easily. Shaver has slightly tapered body that fits well in hand. Shaver heads adjust to contour of area being shaved.
Weakness: Carrying case does not have space for recharging cord.
Another well designed product from Braun that provides a close and comfortable shave. Heads contour to face easily and shave without razor burn. Shape is slightly tapered which sets well in your hand. Battery life is very good. Cleaning and maintenance of shaver is quick and easy. Have owned two previous Braun models and this is best yet.
