This is a nice shaver. It has a perfect hard travel case and shaves great. This model is a little smaller and lighter then my Braun Syncro and the cord plug in is different, but other the that it for sure is a Braun product and will be perfect to take everywhere. (The case even has tools built-in to clean the shaver)

The shaver is a convenient size, very portable, and easy to clean. It does not trim as close as a razor, but neither is it abrasive to use. The end result is kissable, which is the goal after all.

Strengths: Good shave on well used skin. Quick recharge. Bargain price. Cleans with water.
This model 5614 replaced a Braun Model 7505 for about half the price and shaves just as good. I like the carrying case but will seldom use it. The new shaver did not come with a plastic head cover so I had to us the one from my old shaver. I would pay more for a screen and cutting head that lasts 5 years or so, vs 18 months for current models. I will probably but another one when the time comes.

Weakness: It is not as quiet as 7526.
I always like Braun shavers, I have to throw away my new 3-heads shaver from R* brand. The best part of this one is that it can be washed under hot water. Unlike 7526 or other series that required the solution kit which may cost you from $10 to $19. The pivoting head is not as good as 7526 but the price for this 5614 is just right.

Braun 5614 Shaver
Strengths: Good price, close shave, nice case, dry or water clean, portable & flex head.
Weakness: A bit noisey compared to other Brauns.
This is my third Braun & they have all given me good service. The 5614 is nice & compact. I like the higher speed that seems to permit closer shaves. For the price it is an excellent buy.
