Attractive scale with imprecise readings

I wanted a scale to use in my clinic that gave readings accurate to the tenth of a pound, which this scale does. Unfortunately I had my weight vary by as much as 1.7# in approximately 30 seconds. The accuracy appears to be dependent on precise location of your feet when you stand on the scale. If I were using it only for myself I could mark the precise spots to stand, but this is not practical...
