Description
The Ascensia Breeze 2 Blood Glucose Monitor System is ideal for people with limited dexterity due to arthritis. Feature includes large, easy-to-read display, one easy-to-load disc with 10 test strips and no coding required. Its ergonomically-design makes it easy to manipulate and supports diabetes management software.
Strengths: Quick reading
Weakness: Cheap feel, plasticy
Quick meter makes taking measurements easy. Very accurate BSL monitoring and cheap plastic strips. Seems to be built with cheap materials and included nylon case is not very well built either. Overall, poor build quality, nice electronics.
Strengths: Ascensia Breeze 2 Blood Glucose Monitoring System
Weakness: none
Ascensia Breeze 2 Blood Glucose Monitoring System has proven with reasonable accuracy as I would have expected. The unit has everything you need to start with, even came with 10 FREE strips ready to use. The unit uses a very little blood for analysis and you get the result reading within a few second. You can get one free after rebate when there is a promotion.
Strengths: Good, Cheap, It performs
Weakness: Little bulky size, cheap enclosure

Good unit for older patients
Strengths: Large size and large screen good for elderly, easy to use, can use convenient test disc
Weakness: Expensive test strips/disc, misleading (larger blood sample and longer wait time if using the disc), no sample test disc in box

The meter is large and bulky compared to other units, about 4" x 2.5" x 1". The large size may be inconvenient to carry around but it fits nicely into the palm of your hand and is probably good for older people with arthritic hands. The...
