To assemble and fit iWALKFree: With the user seated with leg bent at a 90-degree angle, measure the distance from the back of knee to the ground of the unaffected limb. Thank you!! Freedom!

Strengths: Hands-free use. I couldnt even cook (with the crutches) until I got the iWalkFree. And the "good leg" on crutches takes all the weight. With iWalk, I get to put weight back on the "bad

Weakness: It did take a little getting used to, but the freedom it provides was soooooo worth it! It might not be the best option for those that may be overweight or without coordination.

I have had the unfortunate luck to have sprained my right ankle now 17 times, the most recent was 3/17/2011. I was out (non-weight bearing) for almost 2 weeks on a sprain. I had the great luck to have a friend with an iWalkFree. He taught me how to use it in about 5 minutes. It did take a little getting used to, but the freedom it provides was soooooo worth it! It might not be the best option for...
