The Invati leave in Scalp Revitalizer ($60.00) seemed to soften my hair somewhat (after their awful shampoo) but it smelled so badly neither my husband nor I could stand the "twice daily" use recommended. The Invati leave in Scalp Revitalizer ($60.00) seemed to soften my hair somewhat (after their awful shampoo) but it smelled so badly neither my husband nor I could stand the "twice daily" use recommended. The Aveda Exfoliating Shampoo ($25.00) left my hair feeling like straw. I had hoped that the Aveda Thickening Conditioner (another $25.00) would improve the texture sufficiently to keep me from actually tearing out hair in order to comb and blow dry - but it had little effect - It was smoothing initially but as soon as it was rinsed out the hair was like straw again. Prior to buying this item I asked an Aveda employee if the Exfoliating Shampoo was sulfate free. I was told that it was. After purchase I discovered the label clearly says that it contains sulfates. I've gone back to my Keratin shampoo and conditioners by Coppola. They don't thicken but my hair is healthy and full, if I wash it twice a week. And it is always soft with beautiful movement, especially since I began getting Keratin Straightening treatments more than a year ago. I was really afraid to continue with the Aveda products less I end up with thinner hair than I have now. I checked out the Aveda website. They seem to foster an entire lifestyle, yoga, vegetarianism, etc. And apparently their salons specialize in scalp massage and some other non-traditional therapeutic treatments. I think hair is a sideline, because their products do a very poor job.

DON'T BOTHER

I INTEND TO RETURN THIS ITEM. USING 8 SPRAYS, 2 TIMES PER DAY, ONLY MAKES MY HAIR WET! THE PRODUCT MUST BE MADE FOR ALMOST BALD, OR VERY SHORT HAIRED PEOPLE. IT DOES NOT REGROW HAIR, BUT SAYS IT HELPS STOP FURTHER LOSS.

Do you want thick hair!

This product really works. This is my second bottle. I also use the shampoo and conditioner. i have bee searching for something that would help my fine curly hair for years. I found it in this line. I have always liked Aveda products. Before this I used "be curly" and although it helped my curls it didn't thicken my hair. I get compliments about how thick my hair is...it is not thick!. It's fine...

It's fine and has a tendency to lay flat after a few hours. I hate that! This product keeps my hair full until the next wash...about two/three days....love it!

So far I am happy with this...time will tell. Has a stimulating feeling when I use it. It will be a matter of time before I know if there is any growth. My hair looks good after I use it.
