This is a unique way to remove hair and I recommend it for those who don't like waxing or shaving. It does the job quickly and leaves skin smooth. The unit is solid and good quality, so, it won't fall apart on you. It's not cheap like some Igia and Inverness products that I've tried. It takes a little practice so that you don't apply too much pressure and irritate your skin. I only wish they made...
Strengths: Smooth skin due to exfoliating action. Used dry. No blades, no shaving cream, no mess.
Weakness: Can take much longer than shaving. Doesn't always remove all hair. Doesn't work well on edges (like shin, knee, ankle, etc.). It's sandpaper, so you can hurt yourself if you're not careful.
It was a fun experiment that I'll continue for at least another month, but so far it's proven to be far inferior to shaving as far as performance goes. Well, let me rephrase that. I tried EVERYTHING. my legs would bleed, burn and itch when SHAVING with a razor. I tried all types of razors and even tried an electric razor. First time I used this item, I got a little carried away! Ended up exfoliating just a tiny bit too much! Looked like I got sunburned on my leg & felt about the same. I used again several days later & was much easier to use the second time.

I used this product on one leg and a razor on the other. I had much better results from a razor. This product removed more skin than it did hair. My leg still has not recovered after over a week. This removed skin and left stubble. I wish I had not used this product.

Product is good. But you really have to press hard if you want to get rid of hairs. Also, if you have been using shaver before then you are out of luck. I would say this is good to remove very soft baby like hairs.

I have this conair hair removing system. It does remove hair, but I would say I would havr to use it every2-3 days because hair regrowth is quick. It takes about 20 minutes to do both legs and holding this in my hand and having toput pressure, my hand ends up a bit sore. I purchased this product because I hate shaving, waxing, & using depilatories. I can sit in my bedroom and use it before I go to bed, there's no big production of waiting 5 minutes for depilatories, showering just to shave my legs, or the pain of waxing or tweezing. Worth a Try
Strengths: Not painful when being used, easy to use.
Weakness: Will leave sensitive skins feeling a little sore, doesn't remove all hairs
This is my first time using this product. I had done a fair amount of research and read many reviews so I knew there would be negatives. Even though it did not remove all my dark, coarse hair, I wasn't expecting it to so I was not disappointed. I do have very sensitive skin and often burn and itch after shaving, so I did experience tenderness but it was really no worse than what I get shaving....
