Product Title: Johnson & Johnson Acuvue Oasys
Manufacturer: Johnson & Johnson
Power Score: 3.9 | 12 Reviews
Strengths: very comfortable, disposable
Weakness: A little more expensive
The acuvue oasys contacts are very comfortable. My eyes do not seem to dry out as much with these contacts. I hardly ever use re-wetting drops with these. I like that they are disposable, the fresh pair every couple weeks makes a difference to my eyes. They are a little higher priced than my old contacts, but my eyes feel so much better when I wear these that it is worth it to me. This is my...
Strengths: Last two weeks and stay moist
Weakness: more expensive than other lenses
I had Frequency 55s for a number of years, then went to Day/Night, and most recently Acuvue Advance. The Advance lenses were terrible, getting dry by the end of the night, barely lasting 10 days and often being uncomfortable upon insertion (of a new lens). So I switched to Acuvue Oasys a couple weeks ago and these are much better. They are comfortable, can stay in until late at night, last about 2...
Strengths: very comfortable
Weakness: none
I used Acuvue Oasysfor the first time... ! I can't feel them at all, my eyes feel moist, I keep forgetting I have contacts on.
Strengths: More comfort Keeps eyes moist
Weakness: Costs extra
I just switched to these after using Acuvue Advanced and it is slightly better. They do seem a little more comfortable but my doctor did also switch my base curve so that may have something to do with it. As far as keeping moist, I notice a slight improvement. I am not quite sure if it is worth the extra money over the Acuvue Advanced.
Strengths: MY EYES DON'T DRY UP! Seem to feel "new" longer than other lenses.
Weakness: Marginally more expensive than other 2-week lenses (ie. O2 Optix)
I initially began wearing contacts with daily Acuvue contacts, which have been the best I have ever used (though quite expensive). Last year I switched to 2-week lenses, the O2 Optix. However, I hated them because they kept drying up. I just started wearing the Acuvue Oasys for the last 3 weeks and have already noticed the difference with them not drying up (maybe its the hydraclear or whatever,...
Strengths: very comfortable; thin, disposable; more oxygen gets to the eye; good deals can be found online
Weakness: Can be pricey if bought at the retail store. They tend to dry out faster than the other brands (Advance, Acuvue 2)
These are the most comfortable disposable lenses. Can wear them more hours per day than other disposable lenses. You can get them fairly reasonably at various online lens stores. They are a bit more expensive than Acuvue 2 or Advance brands, but are well worth it. Definitely healthier for the eyes.
Strengths: Feel lighter than the other lenses I have worn.
Weakness: Slightly a little more expensive than other 1-2 week disposables.
All is all worth the money. As first, I was a litle skeptical as to whether they would be worth the extra money. I have been wearing them for over a year, and can highly recommend them to others.
Strengths: Contacts are Thin and have Hydraclear. Say good bye to rewetting drops.
Weakness: Not really a weakness but would say cost alittle bit more then other leading contact lenses.
Overall I have enjoyed wearing these contact lenses. It's nice not having to worry about dry eyes and finding that bottle of rewetting drops. I would recommend these contacts to anyone who gets dry eye or is doing anything that strains the eye like sitting in front of a computer all day long.
Strengths: They're comfortable from the beginning of the day until the end and don't dry out. I don't have to put in eye drops all day due to dry eyes. Also very durable.
Weakness: The price is a bit higher for these than my old Acuvue II contacts.
I have dry eyes and these are the only contacts that I'm able to wear. I'm so grateful these came out or I would have had to switch to glasses. They really are worth paying extra for if you have dry or sensitive eyes.

Acuvue Oasys contact lens
Strengths: Moistest lens I've ever worn, very comfortable, almost like not wearing a lens at all
Weakness: Pricier than other types of Acuvue lenses
Acuvue Oasys contacts stay moist all day without that dry, itchy eye feeling. Before tying Oasys, I wore Acuvue Advance, and Oasys is more comfortable than Advance. Years ago I wore Acuvue 2 and there is a world of difference in the improved comfort level of Oasys over Acuvue 2. It really boils down to if the additional cost is worth it for the greater level of comfort.
